At Cosaia Threads, WE MAKE HANDMADE Merchandise OUT OF HANDMADE Fabric.
The approach of creating any CT merchandise is of utmost treatment and unmatched craftsmanship. The total process is divided into 3 components.
Weaving
Our fabric is handspun, hand woven normal fiber cloth purely created out of cotton without having the use of devices. It is also usually identified as khadi in India and has been made for generations. The artwork of generating khadi is largely passed down by means of generations. Due to this people with this talent set are difficult to find. It also has restrictions in production. Our weavers can make about 10 metres of cloth for every working day while a device can produce thousands of metres per day. This is the purpose our fabric is so exceptional.
Stitching
Since the starting, we did not want to go to any big production organization to make our goods. We usually aimed to aid the nearby local community in India and give folks operate. So we went out there, located a couple of tailors, created prototypes, improved and lastly commenced making our goods. All our tailors hand stitch CT items sincerely with precision on their sewing devices.
Printing
We use the historic East Asian art of block printing on our bags. The wood blocks are carved by a neighborhood artist employing just a chisel and mallet. Thereafter, every single bag is printed on by dipping the block in paint and pressing it from the bag.
